Car detailing in Lansdale, PA

Lansdale grew up around the North Pennsylvania Railroad in the 1850s and is still a train town, with SEPTA's Lansdale/Doylestown Line stopping downtown next to the Kugel Ball in Railroad Plaza. Lots of people here take the train into Philadelphia, and lots more drive: Main Street (Route 63), Broad Street, Valley Forge Road and the Turnpike's Northeast Extension in Towamencin. Either way, the car usually doesn't get much more than a quick wash.

In winter, road salt from the Northeast Extension and Route 63 dries white on the lower doors and the wheels. In spring, pollen covers everything. Our Exterior Detailing is a full hand wash and hand dry, with the tires cleaned and dressed, the grille and trim cleaned and a paint protectant that holds for about two months. David takes care of bugs and sap as well; just mention them when you book.

Inside, a car you drive to work every day collects a lot: coffee rings in the cup holders, receipts in the door pockets, dust in the vents, crumbs down the sides of the seats. The Interior Detailing goes after all of it: everything vacuumed, the seats and carpet shampooed and then steamed, stains treated, every hard surface wiped down, the door jambs cleaned and the windows left crystal clear. If you ride the train, the day the car sits at home is a good day to have it done.

Where we detail in and around Lansdale

We cover the borough of Lansdale and the communities around it in the North Penn area, including Hatfield, Towamencin, Kulpsville and Montgomeryville. If you work in one of the offices or business parks out that way, a workplace lot is fine too, as long as the property allows it.

In Lansdale, not every house has a driveway. We use an outdoor spigot and an outlet, so a driveway or a private lot with both within reach works best; street parking usually does not. In an apartment or condo, text us a photo of the spot and we will tell you if it will work.

Looking for a car wash in Lansdale?

A quick car wash only gets the dirt you can see. Our Exterior Detailing gets the rest: the whole car is washed and dried by hand in your driveway, including the wheels, the grille and the trim, and nothing is left wet in the corners to spot. It costs more than a tunnel car wash because it does a lot more, and the paint protectant at the end makes the next wash easier.

How to book

Starshine is family-owned. David Albaladejo runs it and leads every job, with family working alongside him, and we answer the phone at any hour. Call or text (215) 608-2003, or send the form on this page with the car, the package and where it will be parked. If storms are coming, we reach out first and reschedule at no charge; light rain is fine for interior work or under a carport.

Questions

Do you come to Hatfield, Towamencin, Kulpsville and Montgomeryville?

Yes. We cover Lansdale and the North Penn towns around it.

How far is Lansdale from you?

About 15 miles from our base in Huntingdon Valley. You don't have to drive anywhere; we come to you.

Do you detail trucks and SUVs in Lansdale?

Yes. For a truck or SUV it's $200 for the outside, $220 for the inside and $350 for the Full Detail. Not sure what size yours counts as? Just ask when you book.

How much is a car detail in Lansdale?

Cars and sedans: $150 outside, $170 inside, $250 for the Full Detail. Trucks and SUVs: $200, $220 and $350.

I don't have a driveway. Can you still do it?

We need an outdoor spigot and an outlet within reach and the property's permission. A private lot or a friend's driveway can work; street parking usually can't. Text us a photo and we'll tell you.

Can you detail the car while I'm on the train?

A station lot has no spigot or outlet we can use, so that usually won't work. The easiest way is a day the car stays at home, or at your office if the property allows it and there's water and power in reach. Tell us your schedule and we will find a day that fits.

Can you get winter salt off the car?

Yes. The hand wash reaches the lower doors, the wheel wells and the wheels, where brine from the Northeast Extension and Route 63 builds up, and the paint protectant goes on afterward.

Do I have to be there the whole time?

No. Be around at the end for the walk-around, and go about your day while we work.
