Who we are

Starshine Auto Detailing is a mobile car detailing business based in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, operated by David Albaladejo. You can reach us at (215) 608-2003 or hello@starshineauto.com.

What the booking form collects

When you send the booking form on this site, we get what you typed into it:

• Your first name and, if you fill it in, your last name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you fill it in
• Your town or ZIP code
• Your vehicle type (car or sedan, truck or SUV)
• The package you want
• The date you would like
• Anything you write in the notes box

We also record which page of this site you sent it from, a tag for the link you arrived by (so we can tell whether something like the code on our door hanger is bringing people in), and, if your browser sends it, the address of the page that linked you here. We do not store your IP address.

Where your request goes

Your request is saved in this site's own database, which is hosted by Cloudflare, the company that serves the site, and it is emailed straight to hello@starshineauto.com so we see it. Nobody else is sent it.

We use it for one thing: to contact you about the detail you asked for, and to do the work.

Calls, texts and voicemail

Our phone number, (215) 608-2003, runs through Twilio, a phone and texting company, before it rings our own phone. Twilio keeps a log of each call and text: the number it came from, the time and how long it lasted. If you leave a voicemail, the recording is stored so we can listen to it, and we are emailed that it arrived. If you text us, the message is stored the same way.

We do not record live calls. Pennsylvania requires everyone on a call to agree to being recorded, and we do not ask for that, so no conversation with us is recorded.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number or text us first, you may get texts from us about your request and your appointment. That is all we text about. We do not run a marketing text program and we do not send promotional texts.

Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. You can book by phone or email instead.

There is no set number of messages. It is only as many as it takes to sort out your appointment. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your own phone plan.

Reply STOP to any text from us to stop getting them, or HELP to get help. You can also just tell us on the phone or by email.

Your mobile phone number and your consent to texts are never shared with or sold to anyone else, and are never shared or used for anyone's marketing, including ours.

Analytics

This site may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used.

Cookies and what your browser stores

This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. It keeps one small note in your own browser for the length of your visit, which remembers the link you arrived by so the right source is attached to your request. It disappears when you close the tab.

Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for the font files when the page opens.

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it or hand it to anyone who wants to market to you. The only companies that touch it are the ones that run the site, the email and the phone number for us: Cloudflare, Google and Twilio.

How long we keep it

We keep booking requests, call logs and voicemails for as long as we need them to run the business and keep our own records. If you want yours deleted, email hello@starshineauto.com and we will delete it.

Your choices

Email hello@starshineauto.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Tell us on the phone or by email if you would rather we did not call.

Changes to this page

If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too.
